There are four hundred billion stars in the galaxy.
How can we observe them through the eyes of poetry?
We asked a group of secondary school students to “see the stars again” in a time when stars have been pushed aside.
We started from the women scientists of our time, drawing inspiration from the nine women programmers of the Linux Open Source world — among the many supernovas capable of “exploding” in all their brightness and talent.
What we discovered are three multimedia stories set in different spaces and times. They are scattered notes we found in the most hidden corners of our rooms: the first time Miranda saw a star, the moment when Shakespeare’s sister spoke up, the scientific discoveries that have been hindered from the beginning to the present day. In other words, we tried to follow the advice of a scientist: “never stop asking questions.”
